Ansonia Jr./Sr. High School

Greetings, Tiger Families!

It is my privelge to be Principal of Ansonia Jr. and Sr. High School.  Our part of Ansonia Local Schools is grades 6-12, serving around 300 students.  At Ansonia Jr. and Sr. High, the students have the opportunity to participate in interscholastic sports (grades 7-12) as well as student groups and clubs.  Students also get to participate in various activities that focus on our ROAR (Respect, Organization, Attitude, and Responsibility) program that recognizes students for their positive actions.

Academically, students at Ansonia Jr. and Sr. High have the option of taking electives ranging from Art and Music to Ag classes.  Honor Roll students are recognized quarterly.  Students have the opportunity to take challenging classes to push their learning to new heights including many College Credit Plus options.

The staff at Ansonia Jr. and Sr. High School are some of the most dedicated professionals in the state, seeking to provide the students with authentic, engaging, and challenging learning activities.  Students can expect to be challenged and pushed to be the best they can be while, at the same time, being supported in their learning.
